“During the past 4 years, FBGS underwent a tremendous change from a small and project-oriented company to a professional and internationally well-known supplier of high-quality fiber optic sensors. Now, it is time to bring the company to the next level with a variety of interesting business opportunities. The board is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Eric Lindner as the new CEO of FBGS, as he has been responsible for a great portion of our success over the years. As we produce innovative, state-of-the-art products for numerous sensing applications in different markets, the company is transforming into a major player in the fiber sensing optics industry. This is a terrific opportunity that any leader would welcome.” said Lindner.

Dr. Lindner, 32, holds a Diplom (MSc) in Physics from the University Jena (Germany). He completed his doctoral thesis (Dr.rer.nat) in “High Temperature Stable Fiber Bragg Gratings” at the Leibniz Institute of Photonics Technology (IPHT) in Jena.
