How Durable are DTG® Sensors?

DTG® sensors are well-known for their unmatched robustness, mechanical strength, and performance stability.  Their strength and stability have been proven in experiments using standard size (cladding diameter of 125 µm) DTG® sensors glued to different substrates, such as: steel, aluminum, carbon and many others.  The bonded DTG® sensors were cycled from 0 up to 2000 µε for 2 million times and yet showed drifts of less than 5 µε.  For more details, please see https://www.fbgs.com/website/fbgs/assets/files/technical-info/fbgs_-_strain_gauge_technology.pdf
