FBGS attended the Measurement by Light conference 2019 in Antwerp and we gave a live demonstration in our fiber sensing solutions. We have also presented a complete fiber sensing solution for shape sensing and curvature monitoring. The conference was attended mainly from universities and some industrial partners. Some people were already using our high strength DTGs for strain and temperature applications and we received very positive feedback regarding the fiber performance. The applications were mainly used in building health monitoring. Many researchers were attracted from the live demonstration of our shape sensing solution and there has been lots of interest from professors and phd students which might lead to a potential collaborations in the future.
