FBGS traveled to Cyprus in order to attend EWOFS2019 conference. We presented one of the latest fiber sensing solutions that we have developed, our pressure sensor. It was a great opportunity to meet with our partners and researchers from many universities and institutes. Apart from the pressure sensors there was a great interest also in the shape sensing solution that we can offer in a very cost-effective way due to the fact that is based in DTG technology. We gave a commercial pitch informing the attenders how we can tailor our technology to the specifications of the projects. Finally, many researchers showed a lot of interest in high strength DTG fibers and femtosecond gratings for both strain and temperature applications.
