Can DTG® Sensors be Used Within Cryogenic Environment?

Yes, our DTG® sensors are fully compatible with cryogenic environments.  Our standard lower temperature specification for the ORMOCER®-coated DTG® sensors is about -200°C (~73°K) and in selected instances, successful performance has been reported, where DTG® sensors have been used at temperatures below that mark. It is important to note that proper calibration of the DTG® sensors is carried on when deploying in cryogenic environments, as the sensitivities do change accordingly.  Examples of cryogenic applications of DTG®s are also available in the literature:
