Dr. Eric Lindner, CEO of FBGS is one of speakers at the first public workshop of the TOF alliance. The regional alliance of leading companies and research institutions have teamed up to include international experts for a high-level exchange on the latest developments, techniques and products to explore synergies with existing projects, within and beyond TOF, and to discuss future challenges on the topic. The workshop on Tailored Optical Fibers (TOF) for sensors and light sources will be held at the Abbe Center at the Beutenberg Campus in Jena, Germany on November 15, 2017.

Dr. Lindner’s presentation will preview multicore fiber draw-tower grating MCF-DTG® sensors, which are geared for the dynamic measurements of deflection and shape. MCF-DTG® sensor is one of several other matured technologies and product offering, which FBGS offers as optimal solutions for many challenging applications.
